Focus Points Family Resource Center has seen demographic shifts in the communities it serves, which has prompted the nonprofit to consider moving its headquarters to a location where it can better meet families' needs. As part of this decision-making process, Focus Points asked Shift to conduct a local market scan of the Globeville Elyria Swansea (GES) neighborhoods. This scan helped Focus Points understand how rising housing costs have impacted the speed of gentrification and displacement in GES. With this information, Focus Points was able to make data-informed decisions regarding a new headquarter location that would allow it to most effectively meet its target clientele.
