Urban Land Conservancy (ULC) routinely needs to communicate where its property assets are located and how those assets support communities across the Denver metro region. To help ULC report on its community impact, Shift developed an online tool that maps ULC properties with community context data representing socioeconomic indicators, community resources and infrastructure.
As a nonprofit real estate organization, having a visual map that demonstrates community needs and existing gaps in neighborhood assets gives ULC a digital representation that shows how we can make the most significant impact with our investments. Shift is a key partner and their expertise in creating data-driven tools has been essential to ULC's ability to improve the lives of residents across metro Denver.
